ITA 201: Intermediate Italian I
Course description
This course is open to students who have already taken ITA 101 + 102 or equivalent at their home universities. Your goals for this class should be to gradually improve, through hard work and continuous involvement, your speaking, understanding, reading and writing skills in Italian. Particular emphasis is given to communicating in Italian, and to various aspects of Italian culture. This course will be conducted in the target language only: English will not be spoken.
Learning objectives
Students who complete this course will be able to:
Have developed oral comprehension (Listening), oral expression (Speaking), written comprehension (Reading) and written expression (Writing) at the Intermediate-Low level on the ACTFL scale.
Have developed intercultural competence skills at the Intermediate-Low level
