Academic Programs
Regardless of duration, all of our programs give students the chance to experience Italy through immersive academics, cultural exploration, and meaningful real world learning. From the classroom to the community to independent travel, each experience is designed to help students grow in perspective, confidence, and curiosity. It is an opportunity to learn deeply, explore intentionally, and return home changed.

Semester
A full semester in Italy is more than a visit—it’s a life you step into. It means daily rhythms, deeper relationships, and the space to feel at home. With time to explore Europe along the way, you experience study abroad not as a snapshot, but as a chapter. During the semester, students typically enrol in 12- to 15-credits of coursework.
Summer Intensive
It’s more than a summer abroad—it’s a chance to dive in. You’ll earn credits, connect with local communities, and take part in social justice trips that make your learning tangible. During the 6-week course, students can choose to enrol in 3- or 6-credits of coursework.
Internships and Service Learning
Internships and service-learning at the Italy Center put you in the field with local organisations, turning your coursework into real, resume-ready experience. You’ll build professional skills, community connections, and a deeper understanding of Italy and the world by doing work that actually matters.
