Sam Favre

Originally from Long Beach, Mississippi, Sam Favre serves as Assistant Director of the Spring Hill College Italy Center from Spring Hill’s campus in Mobile, Alabama. A 2021 graduate of Spring Hill College with a degree in psychology, Sam studied at the Italy Center in 2019. He later returned to Bologna, where he spent three years supporting students as Program Coordinator.

In his current role, Sam guides students through the predeparture process, including completing required documents, navigating the visa process, and preparing for the transition to life in Italy. He enjoys answering questions, making complicated steps feel more manageable, and helping students feel informed and confident before they leave for Bologna.

Having experienced the Italy Center as both a student and staff member, Sam understands that preparing to study abroad can feel exciting and overwhelming at the same time. His goal is to make the process as clear and supportive as possible so students can begin their experience in Italy feeling prepared and ready for what comes next.
