Yatziri Michicich-Ochoa

Yatziri Michicich-Ochoa was born in Mexico and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in International Business Management with minors in Italian Studies and Human Resources from the University of Nevada, Reno. During her undergraduate years, she discovered her passion for student support while serving as a Resident Assistant. Since then, she has built a career in international education, working with study abroad students as a Global Student Success Coordinator with Northeastern University in Thessaloniki, Greece (2023) and Belfast, Northern Ireland (2024), and as a Program Coordinator with CIEE’s Taking Climate Action program in Copenhagen, Denmark. With extensive experience in student engagement, leadership, and cross-cultural learning, Yatziri is dedicated to helping students thrive both inside and outside the classroom. Passionate about travel, culture, and building community, she is excited to support students as they immerse themselves in Italian life.
